Villa Valeria

Great location! Our family of 5 were comfortable and spread out throughout the apartment.

Location (but be aware there is a bar and a restaurant very close to the property which may get noisy). Served our purpose of a night stopover. Not sure the property would be adequate for many days if looking for a communal area as that is small.

Showers are small wet rooms which means the toilet also gets wet; top bedroom has a sloped ceiling where low level vibrations and a hum could be felt/heard which we guessed may have come from a roof fixed ac unit.

Fabulous location. Very well fitted out. Everything worked.

There are a lot of stairs. It is obviously a function of the location and type of property. But it could be made clearer just how many steps are involved getting between bedrooms.

The location is amazing, in the walls of the Split old town. A really special spot to stay, but...

All rooms are very small, including the living side. I guess that's to be expected from the location but I have to say it took us by surprise. The neighbouring bar is very loud, and stays open until after midnight. Rooms not well soundproofed so you can hear everything that's going on downstairs. Air con in the top floors makes inconsistent noises even when switched off. Please only stay here if you can cope with such noises and distractions, we had two very bad nights sleep as a result

The Villa location is good, not only close to the palace, but also has many shops and restaruants around. The owner Marija is friendly and reachable. There was problem with the water heater. We found the problem and contacted Marija at night. Despite its nightime, she responded and sent someone to check the heater quickly.
