The Globe Inn Wells

Excelent accomodation with easy parking.

The Globe Inn is well located in Wells next to the sea Very traditional pub with an excellent choice in drink and food We noted the place is very dog friendly and the easily reachable walk to the quay area, the only negative comment would be trying to find an empty space to park in tbe vicinity, which at high peak times I guess would be worse

Not as advertised. Arch House is some way away from The Globe. No staff. Dirty carpets. Small rooms. Not maintained. No breakfast on site. Not able to get through to The Globe by phone. No reply to emails through Expedia. Full review on Trip Advisor with photos in room. Only saving grace was comfy bed. Clean linen. Waste of a lot of money for what felt like a hostel.

Stayed in annexe to which the rooms were adequate but looking tired. Our room had been 'serviced' but not cleaned as the carpet had not been hovered and there was a build up of dust on some of the furniture There was also rotting food in one of the drawers which we addressed with the hotel but never even got an apology. Tea & coffee facilities in communal area were not adequate for the number of rooms. Would I stay there again? ... probably not

We had a great time the staff very pleasant especially Harry and Helen who were very helpful and pleasant

The absolute disaster of expedia web site which resulted me being sold an order which was one month later than I requested. Then when it came to use these mid-booking the cancellation proved impossible because your website gives no ability to speak to a human being for a situation was not dealable by the website. As I result I will never you your company again and will warn my colleagues and friends of your deficiencies

The accommodation in the annex was a little way away from town, but walkable. We arrived a bit early, trying to avoid the rain on bicycles - but staff were understanding and prioritised getting our room ready. Felt uncomfortable arriving by bike, as no options for storing the bikes were provided, and perhaps this might be considered as the location is on the Rebellion Way, which many touring cyclists are doing.

Amazing location, food, service and vibe. Small rooms are good for single travellers.
