Hotel Bristol

We were 2 couples from Manchester staying for 7 nights to celebrate my niece’s 60th birthday. We stayed here for the first time in September 2025. We had such a great time that we thought we would return and do it all again. The hotel has a slightly old world feeling about it but this is what gives it its charm. We had a room on 7th floor with a great view. The room was lovely and clean throughout with a huge bed to spread out in. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast and dinner with fabulous views over the bay. Great selection at breakfast and the chef making various egg dishes was brilliant. Dinner was lovely with a good choice and Luca, Guiseppi, Carmine and the whole team were so friendly and welcoming 👏🏻. The team at the pool bar and also in the evening were very good and a special shout out to Christian and Ameliana and the guy behind the bar making great cocktails ( he is the twin of Man Utd player Fernandes ). All the F&B staff are so friendly and gracious which makes this hotel so highly rated with 5* reviews. Many thanks, we hope to return. Andrew, Hilary, Julie and Colin. XXXX

A fantastic week in the Bristol Hotel. A special thank you to Luca and Guiseppe and the entire floor staff in the restaurants for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I am coeliac and had plenty of Gluten Free options. They could change almost anything on the menu to my needs. Our room was on the 9th floor with spectacular views of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The hotel has an old italian charm with unique features and nothing was too much for the staff. Our room was very spacious with plenty of storage. Both the room and bathroom were beautifully tiled. Everything in the hotel was both professional and friendly at the same time and spotlessy clean. I cant recommend this hotel enough and we hope to return in the not so distant future. Katrina and Martin

We have recently returned from a week at Hotel Bristol.What a superb hotel this is.Nice location just 10 minutes walk into the centre of Sorrento. The hotel was spotless and of a high standard, the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. I usually prefer to stay B&B as like to go out to different restaurants each night however we were half board and it has totally changed my views.The food was fabulous, usually half a dozen options per course to choose from and Luca and his team made it clear on more than one occasion that if you didn’t fancy anything on the menu,just let them know and they would source alternatives for you.You can’t ask for more than that.The restaurant had lovely views over the sea and resort, I couldn’t fault it.There was also a lovely bar to end the night in after a walk around the resort. We had a sea view room on the 7th floor which was very spacious. Overall, a lovely experience that was well worth the money.

The the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, very polite, tentative and could not be happier to do everything we requested.

The hotel was very well run by staff, from all areas. The front desk staff were very attentive and quickly responded when asked. A special shout out to the restaurant team who were very professional but above all friendly and helpful. I was keen to progress my Italian and they were patient and encouraging. I particularly thanked Gianluca, Carmine, Luca and Giuseppe. We would definitely recommend staying at the hotel.

The hotel was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating. We were greeted with a smile at every turn. The hotel even gave us a fan to borrow one evening when the hotels air conditioning stopped working and we got a bit hot in our hotel room. The room was cleaned very well and the breakfast was yummy. This was our first stay in sorrento and if we ever come again, we will definetly be staying at Hotel Bristol again! The best hotel ever!

There was nothing we didn't like

We stayed at the Bristol Hotel for 8 days in May 2026. We had a fabulous room and great service from the staff. Federico was a huge help with planning prior to our visit as well as the restaurant staff really stood out; Giuseppe really made our stay extra nice, as well as Luca and Jon-Luca. Highly recommend this hotel.
