Silver Collection Hotel

I like the ease of the mobile check in. The hotel smelled fresh and clean, as was the room. I like the studio atmosphere with the kitchen and living room separate from the bedroom.

The contactless checkin was easy and convenient, a great alternative to standing in line at a counter!

I would not stay at this hotel.

This hotel worked well for our family of 5. We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen or laundry due to our short stay, but it would be nice for a longer visit. This was our first time at a fully automated hotel, but everything was very smooth. We’d definitely stay here again!

Be aware that it is fully automated. You’ll have to download an app to get your key. That’s not a big deal but there were multiple issues, several hours after downloaded the key stopped working. Had to call a “property number” and leave a message. Got no response until 20 minutes later, once I had already figured out how to get a manual key myself and got in My room, I heard a knock at my door. Ten minutes later got a text saying a security guard was at my door to see if I’d gotten in my room. Total time from time key stopped working until security guard came was 45 minutes. Also the breakfast is a five minute car ride which is fine but I couldn’t find anywhere or get a person to actually tell me where to go for the breakfast - had to drive around for 15 minutes after searching the actual hotel first. Excessive texts from “Ivy” thr personal hotel concierge. Hot water in shower is only lukewarm. TV kept “going out” where the screen went bank for several minutes at a time. On the positive - large room, very clean, comfortable bed. Coffee and kitchen available in room. Plenty of towels, blankets. The breakfast was standard but good.

Parking and location were great! Room was large and open which made it seem even larger. Only complain during this trip was bed was too hard causing some aches & pains. Breakfast was good as usual!

First time at a staff-less hotel. Felt very new and clean. 10 minute or so drive to downtown Fburg. Family of four felt very comfortable. Didn’t bother with the clubhouse or amenities, as they were a short drive away from actual hotel. Great location close to lots of food and nice grocery store. Beds were extremely comfortable. Will absolutely stay again!

It was super clean and very quiet and nice furniture and appliances.

This is an excellent place to stay as long as you know up front there is no on-site staff. Checking in involves downloading an app to which your access is sent. I am 60 years old and not the most tech-savvy, but I (by myself with no help from the younger generation) managed to do it. Also, breakfast is either a walk or a drive to the clubhouse where you likewise must use the app to gain entry. Other than these two things which are a bit different (but not really a big deal), this place was OUTSTANDING. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. My bedroom was separate from the kitchen and living area and I had access to a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, etc. I was very impressed and would have no qualms about returning. This is definitely my new favorite hotel in Fredericksburg.
