It was fine for the location conveience .
Lovely large heritage villa close to bus and train connections and plenty of parking. We stayed in a Queen room in the annexe - clean with good bathroom and great view through to City. Friendly staff and easy check in. It was a shame the pool looks a bit run down and could do with a reno.
This was a lovely spot in Auckland, close to a park for a nice walk, and not too far from some great restaurants. We reserved a room with an ensuite bathroom, which made our stay very nice.
Was very comfortable stay and bed was comfortable. Large room in beautiful old villa. Bathroom was big but plumbing needs attention as had to constantly flush toilet as not working well to get toilet paper down and bath filled up with water when had shower as obvious pipe blockage. But owner was great and even let us off a late cancellation fee for night before the we booked incorrectly so thumbs up for that!! Would stay again for sure. Very good location to Eden Park.
Great value for money and almost at the door for Motat and the Zoo.

Very convenient and quiet place to stay
The property is not up to my standards of cleanliness. The staff had not serviced the room adequateky and there was no toilet paper, quite an embarrassment to ask for it.
Great location, nice clean room with a comfortable bed. Parking onsite. Would definitely stay again.
Large room in old villa style property well inside the property - room was upstairs - may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Offer made to carry bag upstairs however not needed for me. Outlook good. Owners/staff with limited English created some difficulties in communication - unable to gain directions to nearby breakfast options.
