Towel racks were in weird places in the bathroom and the pool blocked the view from the restaurant

Facilities and rooms were new and clean.

I specifically booked a twin bedroom but I was later on assigned a double bed bedroom. Hotel staff Rebena (can't actually remember her spelling) said I made a mistake of keying in 1 pax to a room, hence the hotel has the right to change it from a twins beds bedroom to a 1 single king size bedroom. I personally feel this is ridiculous because the hotel has to consult me first before changing it. Nonetheless, Rebena tried to make it up by providing free dinner or lunch or a free sauna and steam (which is weird, why would anyone wants a steam and bath). I asked for a leg massage and was provided by a 30 mins one.

Excellent and got an upgrade to a Suite with was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and specially Indira was great! Will return.

Bar Peepal Resort is widely considered a "peaceful oasis" that balances traditional Nepali aesthetics with luxury. It is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat slightly away from the bustle of Lakeside, though it has minor functional limitations to consider.

The property is built on a slope and lacks an elevator. Guests in higher rooms must navigate several flights of stairs, which may be difficult for seniors

Such a welcoming, comfortable hotel! Our room was lovely, with a fantastic view of the lake. Staff were really helpful, food was great. Sangita from the Spa was lovely and very helpful in booking our massage.
