Hyatt Place Atlanta/Perimeter Center

Good hotel for what it is. The room was clean, pleasantly updated, and a good value for the money. The location is excellent for this area. The nitpicks were small but still notable: - Parking is not included, and is handled by a 3rd party parking company. - Shower water pressure was good but not great. - The HVAC controls in the room would turn off during the night and when I was in the room. The controls themselves are super awkward, and the unit is pretty loud. I manually needed to fiddle with it to make sure it kept running. (I suspect a broken motion sensor.) - USB-A ports in the room, only USB-C was on the clock. - Biggest problem: breakfast. It's free, so I set my expectations accordingly but the quality of the hot food was not good – worse, multiple days the food was cold even when it was brought out right from the kitchen! The stuff was just not good. I was able to salvage a fruit/yogurt parfait one morning but otherwise, it was bad. - Coffee everywhere was really bad; in-room is worse than in the breakfast area but not by much. These are all pretty minor save breakfast, so I still think this is a good choice. The cleanliness of the room was very good, and the entire hotel felt pretty updated – a big bonus.

Hyatt Place Perimeter Center is always a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the beds are dangerously comfortable—I almost never want to get up and start my day.

This time, the guests above me were noticeably noisy, which took away from the overall experience. However, I understand it was spring break and the hotel was likely hosting more guests than usual.
