Bot Bien Homestay

The guy that checked us in didn't speak any English but with the help of Google Translate we managed just fine. The room was very basic but it was ok for the price. The towels we received were like travel towels (tiny and not very absorbent). Bed was hard but that's normal for SE Asia. It was great to have air conditioning and be so close to the red dunes.

I didn't have any qualms about the stay apart from the fact we were charged 150,000 for scooter rental despite having an awful selection of scooters. The first one had an "engine warning" light on and was making weird sounds. So we changed to a second (very battered) scooter which was also awful and only had one mirror. We finally pointed out one which didn't look like it would explode and took that in the end but it was still missing a mirror and the speedo was just flickering between 1-3 mph.

The staff were friendly

We checked in late at 11pm and got greeted by being shoved into a room we hadn’t booked. We were 5 adults and booked 6 double beds. To our surprise they walked us in a room with 2 king size beds. The room was filthy , mould on the pillows and walls. There was also a dead month under the pillow with 100s of tiny ants around. We all due to it being so late and the staff asleep , stay all 5 of us in one king size bed (the other one with no dead moth). I will say due to the time there was no way the staff could of helped so i am not completely blaming them however the cleanliness of the room was disgusting and i hope they do better as the other reviews were lovely

The property is based in front of the Red Dunes. 5 mins by walk. This is a good spot to wake up early and catch the sunrise on the dunes!

Location, It's near beach and Sand Hill. Staffs were friendly.

Room is not clean as expectation. There is a uncomfortable smell in the room. The rest room is small to take bath.

The size of the bed

They couldn't care less about cleanliness. The bathroom hadn't clearly been cleaned for weeks. Taking a shower was very uncomfortable because of the distribution and the sortness of the shower hose. Dirty room in general as well.

My room was nice, spacious, bathroom was good, had hot water.

Staff were very unhelpful while I was there, no help getting a moter bike or bus

The room was big and there was AC and a fan

We came late from a day of travelling it was nice they waited for us but once in the room it seems the bathroom wasn’t clean as it was still wet with hairs on the toilet. Also the towels were really small and smelly. It was really far away from the center and for the price I wouldn’t recommend it.
