Apartments Bella Vista Split

Great little apartment an easy walk from old town. Good size and safe area.

The main room is a dining room rather than a lounge room, but there is a little outdoor room with seating.

Place was nice and clean, and easily accessible, had a good view, which was really worth the stairs. With a private parking space.

It wasn't a big deal, but the stairs was a bit hard especially after a whole day of exploring and walking. We were on the top floor.

The location and parking for 2 cars was great. We walked everywhere. 3 bedrooms were good for 3 couples. Liked having a separate toilet from the main bath. Nice to have air conditioning.

Older building, dated furnishings, and LOTS of stairs. No living room, just a dining table and chairs in the common area. The third bedroom was just okay. Each bedroom needs a mirror - we all used the one in the main bedroom to get ready. The 2 terraces don't offer much.

On arrival , we were told we were staying in apartment 3. No key in lock box, after climbing 4 flights of stairs with 20kg bag. The host arranged the cleaning lady to come, who opened the door to find other guests suitcases in the apartment. We were told the wrong apartment, and then had to stay on the 5th floor no apology and I was made feel stupid like it was my mistake. No warning of amount of steps. Air conditioning in living area not strong, second bedroom has a broken/badly functioning fan incredibly warm in that room. It was fine, but for the price I expected a bit more.

This apartment is cozy, spacious and well kitted out. The host Rako is very organised and friendly and their staff are very welcoming, kind and super helpful. We were treated very well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment to a family or group of friends who want to enjoy Split or even the surrounding area. It is situated in a very good location with the old town and essential facilities very close by and the nearest beach only around a 15min walk too.

It’s located at 5 min walk of the city center. It has parking place and it’s clean and the 3 rooms are wide. Air conditioning is working.

The pictures and comments in booking of the 3 rooms apartment are not true at all. It’s a clean from the 70’s vintage apartment. The keybox that was at the entrance of the apartment was hard to open and we phoned the owner to ask, he yelled at us telling that wasn’t heavy matematics in a very rude way. The main door it was broken and it was impossible to be closed from the inside so we slept with the apartment not closed.

Room was large, AC worked well, fit 6 people comfortably. Nice balcony, nice view, and the host was easy to speak to. The location was walking distance to restaurants, banks, grocery stores and bars. Washing machine worked well, fridge was kind of small but seemed ok.

Firstly, the floor and the rest of the apartment was REALLY DIRTY. Our feet were black from walking around in bare feet so we just put our shoes on. There was hardly any dish soap to do our dishes, some old rags to do them with, and there was a washing machine but without any detergent, only softener. There was tons of broken glass in the parking lot all over, and the host didn’t give any instructions on how to deal with the garbage, no extra garbage bags either. Overall, we paid a ridiculous price, $1700 Cad for 2 nights for an apartment that was sub par, as even the basics like cleaning wasn’t done.

I didn't like: 6 Floor without elevator, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, there were no simple kitchen items (towels, salt, sugar, coffee, tea,...). One room had no air conditioning at 33C°and the fan was very weak.There were many dangerous steps upholstered in metal in a room with a balcony. My husband hurt his leg.
