Lovely little country pub, really fantastic views, excellent beer, good food, friendly staff. Our bathroom and loo were straight across the landing which was no bother at all. Hope the new owners will keep its charm.

We had a fantastic stay at The Bolton Arms in Downholme. The location is absolutely picturesque, surrounded by beautiful countryside and a lovely peaceful village atmosphere. The staff were all very welcoming, especially the girls working in the bar and restaurant who were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care, and the friendly locals in the village made the whole experience even more enjoyable. (Special mention to Bill and his wife … thank you for being so kind and inviting us in to you home for a coffee and lovely meeting Daisy the cat) We would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. ⭐
