Great breakfast. Downholme is a nice Location if you're looking for that seculded small villiage vibe with terrific views over the north yorkshire countryside. Very quiet at night and slept like a log. One tip, taxi's are expensive, £16 to Richmond and forget about ordering an Uber as there arent any ! To help with costs I'd recommend the bus and return by taxi if that's your thing.

Dinner here was fabulous, so were breakfasts. Staff were super friendly and really helpful. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean. Beer garden out the back had great views over countryside, just beautiful.

Great views from the garden, staff really friendly and make you feel welcome. Food was really good and room clean and tidy and adequate parking.
