There was a good choice for breakfast either continental or english with all you would expect. We had an evening meal which was well cooked and presented. Also a good menu choice. The location was very quiet and rural.

Thought £100 per night was a bit over the top, would say £85 more reasonable. However would stay there again as everything was perfect.

Everything you'd want from a stay in a pub. Great setting. Good food and beer beside the fire. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly people. Excellent.

Comfortable room and bed in a lovely, quiet part of the Dales with vey helpful and friendly staff. Though I had to get up early and would miss breakfast, I was kindly made a “packed” breakfast to eat in my room which was excellent. Also ate in the pub for dinner on the previous night. Food was very good and at a price I’ve now come to expect! All in all, would recommend

Only slight niggle was that the radiator in the room had no visible means of turning it on. To be fair, I didn’t ask anyone - I’m sure they would have told me if I had - and duvet was nice and warm anyhow!

Lovely country pub in a beautiful setting. Friendly welcoming staff and very comfortable room. Fabulous meal and breakfast
