Barfot Apartments

Excellent location — the area is very quiet and peaceful, with no noisy bars or disturbances outside the windows, which makes it perfect for a good rest. The apartment itself is very comfortable and fully equipped — it has everything needed for cooking, laundry, and taking care of your clothes. I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly come back again.

Tolle und ruhige Lage, sehr gemütlich und wohnlich und angenehm warm im Winter. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ich würde das Apartment jederzeit wieder buchen.

Having to make own beds and the bed was more of a sofa bed that the sheet did not quite fit (however was comfy). Some aspects could be cleaner, but for value for money in Bergen this was great!

Check-in was efficient. The apartment was clean and spacious. The bed linen was high quality. The kitchen was well-appointed and the laundry room was extremely useful.

The apartment would benefit from an air conditioner because it was oppressively warm in the living area that had no openable windows during the recent hot weather. We were not able to dispose of garbage as instructed due to the shortcomings of Bergen’s pneumatic waste collection system. We tried to dispose of our garbage using the orange token to access the waste inlets in a number of different streets around the apartment, but all were full. This is not the fault of the host; however, better/alternative instructions would have been helpful.

The apartment is good located in the district where you find a lot of beautiful Norwegian style houses. It is a walking distance to the center, bus / train stations, etc. The place is quite small but has all you need (no microwave oven and toaster). We had no comments to the cleanliness.

The bed was too soft and we had to put on and off the linen (as per request of the host), which is quite unusual.
