Nice and comfortable apartment

Nothing particular - just a few minor things to mention: stairs up to the apartment are quite steep so could be an issue for people with reduced mobility. The temperature controls were not clear initially and the explanation page was missing from info brochure. The issue was quickly clarified by the owner/manager. Could do with a microwave and some more hooks in the bathroom.

Nice facility with almost what is needed to stay in an apartment. The location was great as it was very close to the venue of what I came for in Bergen. Overall, the apartment was good and the staff responded well to my requests.

The location of the bedroom was a bit strange as it was in a little nook with no windows so felt quite stuffy.

We enjoyed our stay in Barfot Apartments. The apartment was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and we enjoyed living like locals.

There is a very steep, but short, spiral staircase leading to the apartment. Hard work with heavy suitcases for older people. If you are travelling with backpacks it would present no problems!

Ideal location and lovely comfortable apartment. In the heart of the city close to restaurants, places to visit, university, museum etc. 15 mins walk from train station and approximately 12-15 mins walk to the harbour. The apartments are in an large town house up a small hill. Bergen is hilly! We stayed in the ground floor apartment which was so toasty and warm and comfortable. The temperature is totally adjustable in all rooms which enables you to get it just right for you. The bed was comfy, cooking facilities were good and suited our needs with full oven (no microwave), big fridge/freezer, nice big TV, shower was good and lots of hot water so all good. Washing machine too.

Having to make your own bed - come on! I don't want to have to make my own bed when I have just travelled miles to get somewhere and I am on my holiday. I don't mind stripping my bed when I am leaving but don't want to have to make it when I arrive. Just a simple change can make a difference! No parking - we had a car for a couple of days and parking is an issue with parking attendants vigilantly giving out tickets. The streets have limited markings but parking is for residents only.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication.

The stairs to the apartment are steep, but this was made known to us beforehand, just in case it was going to be a problem.

De locatie was uitstekend, in het centrum en de universiteitswijk, op loopafstand van de tram. Het systeem om binnen te komen, met een code, was ook erg prettig, geen sleutel die je zou kunnen verliezen. Het keukentje was goed uitgerust met alle basisvoorzieningen, ook de douche was erg fijn.

De matras op het bed was niet helemaal top, wat doorgezakt.
