Barfot Apartments

The location is about 12-15 minutes walk from the water front through delightfully old world streets and a park. The ground floor apartment (#1) was smaller than we expected, but sufficient. The sleeping area was especially tight being exactly the size of the bed, thus to get into bed required clambering up from the bottom. However, the bed was comfortable. Everything was high tech from the lights to the washing machine and dish washer. The induction cook top needed the fuse resetting every day, but this only required flipping a breaker in the fuse box off and on again. A little intimidating at first, but we soon got the hang of it. The WiFi was strong and secure. The bathroom shower was hot and powerful. Everywhere was reasonably clean and efficient. The area was completely silent at night. Although there was no lock box, security was good as to enter the apartment you needed a code for the front door and another code for the apartment. Since eating (and drinking) out in Norway is markedly expensive, we were glad to find 3 supermarkets within easy walking distance and dozens of reasonably priced food stalls in the harbor area serving mainly fish or mooseburgers. For two retirees (75 & 78), this was an ideal place to stay for the week in one of the most beautiful cities we’ve ever been in.

A little worrying that the cooktop fuse needed resetting each day as fuses going indicate an electrical fault. A fair amount of black mold in the shower.

1.晚上9點開始附近會開party，連住4晚。他們3晚都在開party，星期六晚上更是到6.7am才結束！會一直路上吼叫，讓人睡不踏實 2.通往一樓的樓梯，如果下雨天，走起來有點危險⚠️

Apartamento muy bien situado en Bergen, puedes visitar la ciudad andando. Los muebles están bien cuidados y las camas son cómodas. Agradecimos poder dejar el equipaje antes de la hora del checking. Nos dejaron pastillas para el lavavajillas y la lavadora.
