Cherokee Mountain log Cabins

The location was wonderful, very quiet and peaceful. Cabin is very clean and well kept and has everything you need for a weekend stay. The instructions to find the location were very clear.

I would love to stay for an entire week, but lack of laundry facilities may limit if a family could stay that long.

It was peaceful and secluded! The accommodations were great!

It was not a problem for us, but would’ve been nice to have laundry facilities! The driveway was a bit rough, but slow and easy got us there!

Absolutely the property and scenery! Very beautiful very much a peaceful quiet place! The check-in process was so easy! The bed/shower/tub/floors/toilet was all clean! We would stay here again!

We would definitely stay here again! We very much enjoyed our stay so please note that the following comments are meant to be helpful not hurtful or in any disrespectful. I like to honor open communication. I didn’t realize with the titling of the rooms that the Echota suite was a duplex cabin. Luckily the other suite was empty or I do not think I would have liked it. There is a shared door to the entry that is very loud when opening and closing, I don’t mind this but for our neighbors that could have been very annoying because we went in and out a lot. There is a crack in the door framing that you can see through to the shared entry(which would have made me uncomfortable to use the spa tub if someone had been in the other suite. Privacy and peace was what I was there for so thinking someone could see me made me feel uncomfortable. The shutters to the interior windows although a wonderful decor idea I also felt very exposed. I had my husband hang our beach towels over the window for privacy to use the tub. I get we are in the woods but I do think a good power washing of the porch (Top and bottom) every so often could be helpful, there were just so many spiders all over and all over the furniture we couldn’t really use the furniture to set on the porch. Again this isn’t a deal breaker, As far as inside the SUITE we did find 6 water crickets throughout our weekend there. The all around cabin could use a good dusting and deep cleaning, there is a lot of built up dust on the wood features/ decor as well as the curtains around the tub.

The cabin itself was absolutely lovely with charming decor, beautiful view, and well stocked kitchen. Pat is a wonderful host.

The road down to the cabin is in poor repair from the storms; plus, it was so twisting, narrow and tree lined. It was treacherous to drive without a four-wheel drive jeep-like vehicle. Using it was frightening

Check in is so easy. Our room was clean and so inviting. The property is like being in the forest but close to everything you may need.

It would have been nice if the stereo would have worked. It was old from the 80’s and needs to be upgraded.

Beautifully views, privacy, jacuzzi tub, proximity to downtown shops, fully equipped kitchen, very cozy and relaxing place.

Even though there was a disclaimer about the bugs, I didn’t like seeing dead bugs in the kitchen and living room floor.
