Beautiful position, view, charming old colonial homestead. We had the place to ourselves, lovely host

Many bugs in room, although with insect net down that did help. Dinner portions very small. Hot water wasn't turned on for us so we had a cold shower the first night

The staff were very hospitable, the views were beautiful.

The location is a bit isolated and not close to any interest point and restaurants. The rooms aren't private and there was no fan / AC.

Accommodation is of a very high standard. Interior decoration is tasteful and pleasing. Garden is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Staff are polite and accommodating. Peaceful location with a beautiful mountain view.

This is not a criticism, just an observation - Internet connection/WiFi was quite slow!

The hotel is in the middle of the tea plantation with an incredible view. The staff is super kind and always available for any requests. The amenities are gorgeous and refined in all details, surrounded by a very well maintained garden. Dinner available (but you need to reserve) and breakfast was excellent. There’s also a lovely swing for instagram photos :) Would love to return!

The boiler for the warm water in our room had some problems, the hot temperature lasted only short time.

The place is as beautiful as the pictures. Easy to find if you use google maps. The sitting area, the room and the bathroom, the place is tastefully furnished, befitting a place of this status. A cosy fire place, the comforts of a hotel in a bungalow. The food was good. The staff were friendly and was eager to make our stay memorable. A special mention of the roasted carrot soup and the Sri Lankan dinner. Weather was lovely and the walk we did on a path way through tea bushes, by the side of the bungalow was adventurous. We enjoyed the late evening and the early morning walks.

The only draw back is the entrance porch you drive into. It isn’t exactly what you would expect, but once you walk up to the bungalow the beauty is all there. A very plush and homely place.

Great location, gorgeous gardens

Looking forward to a ‘private chef’ food was very average and European. We were surprised that one evening our fellow Sri Lankan guests were given a Sri Lankan curry which we weren’t even offered. Whilst our room was very comfortable and well equipped, 2 broken lights gave the impression that maintenance needs to be prioritised.

Everything! The location, the property and the view are amazing. The owner and the staff are both very polite, helpful and friendly. They let us take a closer look to their bee hives when we requested it and did everything to get to us something that we forgot at our room on our next destination. The touch of quality on everything they do and offer is evident

The location. The environment. The beautiful garden.The peace. The excellent service from Tisara who was in charge.

Wi fi did not work propperly. Dinner plates lack a little of quantity. They only sell wine but the price high. They dont offer beer. Would be nice if there are more charging points in the rooms. Bear in mind that this is a country house, so its far from towns and transportation is difficult through apps unless you want to pay extra amounts.
