Breakfast and Bar were limited.

Grace runs a lovely, old fashioned bed and breakfast. It it cosy and very comfy and very homely. Our rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Her little triplets are the cutest little kids ever. Breakfasts were unique, interesting and good fuel for a day skiing. Their lava cakes were delicious. Reading, chatting, playing cards by the fire at night was lovely. Mainly Aussie guests..The location is quite out of the way. They were great at organising lifts to/from the snow, meals in Hakuba etc. Just be mindful of how quickly these car trips add up. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great week staying there. The Pension is quite out of the way, which can be tricky in the snow. The upside is it was very peaceful and quiet and economical. The downside was getting around. Grace’s team was great with lifts. Our room was in the roof space. Cosy, but hard to dodge beams and rafters. A few head knocks!

Only cooked Italian food. Was nice but limited. I came for Japanese food they cooked Chinese for themselves but we didn’t have that option. I’d much prefer Chinese to Italian. Prices were crazy high also

Great location and nice room. Breakfast was outstanding.

Unfortunately the staff were quite noisy, chatting and laughing late at night (past 11pm) despite signs everywhere to be quiet past 10pm. Particularly annoying when waking up early to ski. The room was also not the cleanest, with some dust and hair collected in the corners.

Staff was extremely friendly and met all our needs. We were impressed with our stay.

So cozy place, the staff are amazing, we really enjoyed the time. There are shuttle every morning to the Ski site

I liked staying in a tatami room. Physical keys were nice to see instead of key cards. Snowboard storage and gear drying room were nice. Location isn’t the best but not too far from echoland with a lot of restaurants. They also have a laundry room and detergent for sale.

You need to wear slippers inside, which is ok. They were out of slippers sometimes. I was not aware they offered a shuttle service. It is only free once but getting a cab is difficult.
