"I can’t give enough praises"

This place was great! I wish there were more of these small little places left. Easy access to the parking lot. Awesome rooms, very clean, had a great shower and a memory foam bed. I believe a husband and wife both live on site and run the place. She was super friendly at check-in. I would highly recommend for anybody.

"A gem in off the beaten path"

Very clean and recently remodeled older motel. Very friendly staff. There is not a breakfast included. The bed was comfortable. It is just the basics. We will definitely stay again. A lot cheaper than other motels.

"Very Economical after tourist season. Dated but clean n functional. Get food n beer before 6 PM"

Economical. Dated but clean. Very quiet. On main road. Very small quaint village. Staff friendly n helpful. Liquor store in town closes at 5 PM on Sundays. Fast food n pizza available in town. Named after the multitude of Pelicans in the area (over 100 lakes nearby). Popular with sport fishermen, but tourist season ends mid-Sept. Very quiet after that.

Room hadn't been opened in a while. Bit of a musty smell. Opened door n windows it cleared out. After tourist season, businesses close early.

Nice place to stay for a motorcycle weekend driving the Otter Tail Scenic Byway. Owners are friendly and helpful.
