We had a great experience here. The location was very convenient, especially with the Starbucks and restaurant within walking distance.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I would strongly suggest finding any other hotel in Albuquerque. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I have stayed at Marriott properties over 500 times and more than 60 times this year alone. I share this to establish that I know what to expect from these hotels. Like other negative reviews, I must say the management of this hotel is shady and unprofessional, especially Julie T., the Director of Sales (I am withholding her last name to remain professional). She does not support her staff and hides in her office instead of having conversations with guests. While the staff brags about the property being "new," the rooms are already tired and poorly maintained. Our room had holes in the bathroom wall and doors from damage that were not properly repaired. The breakfast, which was included and complimentary, wasn't worth the price of being free. I have never seen a tip jar by the coffee at a free breakfast. Additionally, the oatmeal was like soup—clearly not what it should be. It wouldn't be hard for the management to notice if they left their desk! When we decided to leave after one night of our five-night stay to go to another Marriott property that actually met normal standards, we were told we would be reimbursed for one of our two night deposits. However, once the employee checked with this so-called manager who never left her desk, we were told that wouldn't be happening. We left anyway without checking out so they couldn't re-book the room at a higher rate. I would strongly recommend that you do not stay at this property and go somewhere else—anywhere else!

Great staff and the property is in excellent shape. Our stay was refreshing and the room was clean and quiet. The hotel is located near plenty of restaurants and has easy access to the interstate. The parking lot has security driving through every 15 mins or so and it feels very safe. Pool is smaller but it is clean and the workout gym is adequate. Highly recommend this hotel.

A refreshing place to come to after a day of travel or work. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Wonderful kitchenette, local tavern across the street for dinner, some very nice breakfast options as part of the stay. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft, absolutely comfortable (and I am hard to please when it comes to mattresses).

The hotel’s name says Old Town but the hotel is not in Old Town. It is about a mile and a half from Old Town in the historic Albuquerque Indian school district where there is a strip mall with a couple of restaurants, a gas station, and a Holiday Inn Express. I was willing to pay more for this hotel because I thought that it will be walking distance to activities in Old Town so I was disappointed. Front desk staff is nice. They sell some snacks and drinks. One of the elevators was out of service throughout our stay so there was wait for the elevator. Room has a refrigerator and kitchenette. The bathroom’s door is next to the bed so every time you go to the bathroom the door opens widely into the room and will wake up the person on the bed. It was hard to turn on the faucet, it needed to be replaced. Breakfast is the usual fare, nothing exciting, edible. Parking is free. You need a pass from the front desk. It was easy to find parking. There is security outside of the hotel. It made me feel uncomfortable. Next time I will look for a room in Old Town itself.

This was a horrible experience. The elevator was down the entire stay (8 days) and was told that it was down for 16 days. 3 flights of stairs with luggage. They did not offer to help to get the bags up which could have made a difference. Was offered $10 comp which I never received and also an insult with the amount. Do not recommend.. very disappointed in Marriott after this stay. I normally expect that they meet a particular standard of service.

The person at the desk was great and gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner. The only issues were an elevator out of service and the pool was closed. There was a nice grassy area for our dog.

We reserved 1 bedroom and requested to get the room close to exit or lower level because we had a dog traveling with us. When we checked in, the staff was nice and we got a room based on our request. The room was great with kitchenette and cool AC. Gym room was great as well and also good breakfast. Outside near parking lot area, we could walk our dog. We recommend this hotel
