Sherman Inn

Great place very interesting- a former school the old classrooms were converted to massive rooms- worth the visit at least once to stay here (fantastic breakfast is provided too)

A place so nice I stayed there twice- my departing flight was cancelled so spent an additional night- hots were excellent very accommodating even picked up a drop off from airport (breakfast included was always great)

What a fabulous and unique place to stay! The rooms are huge as the building was a prior school house, very clean, great breakfast, the owners are excellent hosts and it even has an outdoor pool. This is the second time we have stayed there and will always stay there when we need to travel to Ogdensburg.

Host was fantastic.

Wonderfull place .... if you like United States History this is a place to stay ... it's like to stay in a museum... my next stay will be longer just for ready some books from incredible library !

I loved everything from the room to the foid to the overall hospitality. If you are in the Ogdensburg area, I highly recommend a stay here. The inn is run by a lovely couple who will ensure you have a lovely visit.

The Sherman Inn in Ogdensburg, NY, has a very charming atmosphere, friendly service, and inviting historical feel. We flew into Ogdensburg airport and Sherman Inn was less than 10 minutes away. We appreciate the location, which offers easy access to the St. Lawrence River and local attractions. The rooms are HUGE, cozy and well-maintained (the beds are far more comfortable than you can imagine). The owners were very polite and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers seeking a quaint, small-town experience.
