Holiday Inn - Erie by IHG

Room cleanliness & a la carte breakfast was a game changer.

The only concern was there was no blinds/blackout curtain on the window. A street lamp outside the window lit up our room all night

The whole place was spotless. I noticed the staff works very hard, doing multiple tasks. Both the breakfast and dinner (which was available for purchase)

Don't charge for breakfast. I saw a Maintenace person washing the floor in the main hall, dining area and front desk area in the morning when guests were getting breakfast or checking out.. For myself and other seniors, I was concerned and nervous about slipping and falling on the wet tile. That kind of job should be done late at night or very early in the morning. Finally, speaking strictly for myself, your room doors are the heaviest I have ever encountered. I need two hands to open them and my whole person to push or pull them open. I know it's a fire safety regulation but come on, there has to be some wiggle room.

Clean

We only had one bath towel in our room. When asked the front desk there was none available till the next morning at 8 o’clock and we were leaving at 8:30.

We did not utilize the breakfast.

I asked for a copy of the bill. I still have not received.
