I was skeptical if I will enjoy playful vibe W offer thus I never booked a stay until this trip. my partner strongly suggest to make booking for his birthday here and thus I did. Guess what, im now planning when to go back again. I mean W Chengdu lives up the name of a luxurious hotel and nothing is pretentious there. It was the longest time I chit chat with the FO upon checked in, it was good sleep over the first night, it was good everything I see, I hear, I eat and I smell. We spent most of our time relaxing in the property. Despite it is far away from the city center, the property is right on top of a stretch of commercial buildings: shopping mall, grocery store, restaurants...etc. Thus we never really walk under the sun. I particularly enjoy the numerous design elements in basically every where of the hotel and until the last breakfast, I discovered there are chinese writing at the side belly of a panda sculpture but I cant really read it. Nice touch. 5 nights stay gone too fast, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Thank you Mr. Robert and team for the great hospitality. I will be back again.

I would like to thank Amanda for helping me iron my shirt. You spent time to iron the shirt for me which I'm extremely grateful because I'm the worst at ironing. I would like to recommend her to the W Hotel management for a promotion within the company

I stayed here for a week. Service was good. I want give a shout out to Lynn from customer relationship team. She was very professional and helped with all my questions to make my stay great as I did not speak Chinese. Want to thank her. I would recommend this hotel.

Very great, very comfortable and the scenery is beautiful. Love to stay here, will stay here again in future . The standard here is good and excellent . Is very easy to go every where. Breakfast is great too. Will want to stay here again. Tina and 陈利英, is of very great help.

The W Chengdu exudes playfulness and sophistication. The lobby has the signature edginess of a W Hotel while being balanced with a more upscale vibe. The rooms are gorgeous—excellent layout, furnishings, and the bathroom is a sight to be seen. The breakfast has a fantastic variety of local Sichuan cuisine and western offerings. Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had, and quite possibly one of the best breakfasts in general. While the hard product of this hotel is exceptional, the real treat is the service. From check in to check out, we were treated like family. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond. There were several small things the staff did to make us feel at home and like we were welcomed there. The general manager, Robert, runs a great hotel—you can tell he ensures his staff is extraordinarily well-trained and is present at the hotel for guests to interact with. Viki was kind and caring, making for an excellent welcome experience upon check in. Marcus was extremely welcoming, helpful with restaurant and other local recommendations, and a very personable manager. Finally, Peri went above and beyond with her assistance in many requests we had. Peri is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and personable hotel personnel I’ve ever met in my many hotel stays, particularly as a Bonvoy elite. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Should there be an opportunity for career advancement and she wishes to pursue it, I firmly believe she deserves any upper-management or other position and that she will excel in her career. I cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. I look forward to returning in the future.

Lee was very helpful from check in to helping us with all our bags and packages from Taobao. He went above and beyond in helping us get our packages that were in the parcel lockers as well. Highly recommended and very accomodating. The rooms were generous in size and hotel location perfect in the newer area of Chengdu. Thank you!
