The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and they thought of everything. Loved everything about the facility

Quant little place, a bit noisy in the main floor room as its right by the entrance and right below another room where noises did come yhrough from but it was quiet at night. Good value!

A last minute booking due to change of plans. It had tuned out for the better. Fantastic hosts and an amazing room. Everything was spotless clean, in top condition. I felt like I walked into a top hotel. I will consider coming back in the future.

Really cramped bathroom (ground floor room adjacent to the main entrance) seems almost to have been an inconvenient afterthought. Tiny unstable 'towers' used for bedside cabinets were barely big enough for my mobile phone let alone glasses or water. Arriving/departing guests disturb the occupants of this room. Everything was super clean and the bed was ok. Outside space was beautifully presented. Did not try the breakfast.

We sincerely had a most unpleasant experience here and as world travelers would never return. We arrived around 8pm after a nice getaway to Skye and no one was on site to greet. After waiting a minute we entered the home and knocked on door of what appeared to be a dining area followed by small kitchen, we were met by a very rude host kicking us out and lecturing us as to hallway and front door signs to ring the bell and just wait outside. When we admitted missing the sign given entry is dim, he continued loudly to scold why we would have missed the sign. We chose to ignore his rudeness and simply asked to be let in to our room (only double bed). We have never encountered such experience in hospitality. Next morning we left and rung the bell to return keys and for him to check room. We then realize he had been calling several times on our international mobile so despite roaming charges we picked up. We thought he possibly could have been calling to apologize for his behavior but to add salt to the wound he questioned where we took his small towels to which we replied they were neatly placed in the night table drawers which he then found in entirety. In light of how small the room was, it baffles the mind that an innkeeper would not check the room as part of cleaning before calling and questioning a guest. There are lots of lovely B&B in Fort Williams, we unfortunately booked last minute and met with an appalling experience at the Birchbank B&B!

Lovely hosts, clean room, delicious breakfast and a good nights sleep. All I could want from a B&B.

Very friendly welcome and immaculate meeting of covid protection in property. Lots of love has gone into the bed and breakfast. Enjoyed our stay. My only feedback to improve would be the mattresses which were very very soft. Something more middle of the road might suit more a range of visitor needs.

Quick stop over, pleasant enough

The property is in a beautiful setting and the owner was very helpful and followed all covid responsibilities. The room and bathroom was smaller than expected. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed but the bed was very soft and just sunk in when you sat on it or lay down. More than one pillow pp would be nice too. The rooms walls are also very thin,so we could here the people above us the whole night and it was quite noisy. Not the other guests fault as they were just doing what any person would,its just that the walls are very thin. Towels are also tiny so that could be improved.. Just a touch of more coziness and warmnth too,theroom is spotless,if not a bit too ikea like and clinical.
