Jimmy is such a great host! Very patient and friendly answering our many questions. Good suggestions for place to visit

Not negative but be aware the toilet and Bath are shared. All very clean. Since only 5 rooms total, you can locked Bath door and have Bath by yourself when you use, so good for us!

The place is amazing, great vibes that immediately makes you feel right at home. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff. Very beautiful and quiet location just an 8 minute drive outside of Furano

The accommodation is in an excellent and convenient location, offering a truly beautiful view. We were able to sit and watch the snowfall directly from the window of our room, which was a truly wonderful and memorable experience. The accommodation is located not far from Ningle Terrace, and we rented a car to drive there. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful. Mr. Jimmy and his wife provided us with a very warm and friendly welcome and took great care of us throughout our stay. We truly wished we had booked more than just one night. We all agreed that if we have the opportunity to visit Sapporo again, we would definitely choose to stay here.

사장님이 친절하셨어요. 감기가 걸린거같아 감기약을 찾았더니 3일치로 된 작은 약을 통채로 주셨습니다. 조식도 나름 가성비적으로는 괜찮았습니다~^^

아무래도 조용한 산속같은위치라 시내에서 볼일보기가 조금불편했던것과 시설이 최근에 지어진것이 아니다보니 살짝 노후된느낌이 있습니다. 그렇다고 불편한것은 크게 없었습니다. 오히려 조용하게 쉬시는분들은 괜찮을거같네요.

Loved Pension Ashitaya! Best pension we have stayed in Japan (this is our 4th trip). Jimmysan and Norikosan were so welcoming, lovely people with great sense of humour. Pension was warm, beds comfy, super clean and the food was yum! It is out of town so best stay here with a car. Very peaceful.

Absolutely amazing gem of a place to stay. The hosts are wonderful, the food is to die for and there are so many nice touches like the in house onsen. I can’t recommend this place enough and really hope I have the opportunity to return. Also, easily the best value of anywhere I’ve stayed in Japan on my ski trip.

Quiet & super sweet, just out of town. 10/15 from ski resorts. Clean & tidy. Great facilities. Couple friendly onsen’s. Jimmy is a legend.

Excellent accommodation a short drive from central city Furano. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was very good (costs additional) and the rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

Such a warm and generous pair of hosts in Jimmy-San and Noriko. Incredibly helpful and engaging, and Jimmy-san speaks excellent English. The place is absolutely lovely, with roaring fireplace and comfy sitting areas, as well as two great in house "onsen" (well... large hot baths). Jimmy-san was extremely flexible and accommodating with driving us to and from the ski hills as we didn't have a car. He even delivered our bags to us at lunchtime on the day we left so we could get the bus out. And the dinners were spectacular! Amazing and diverse home cooked Japanese food. Really delicious. Breakfasts were good too, but certainly not quite the same standard.

The beds are great....if you like a hard sleeping experience. We do, so were fine with them.
