Outside of the rooms could have more comfortable seating. More beach towels.

Beautiful, clean beach with many comfortable stretchers & bean bags. The new restaurant is a definite PLUS.

Dinner in evening is disappointing. Serving staff speaks very poor English which leads to unnecessary confusion. Coffee in morning is disappointing; a good espresso not available

Staff service. There were 3 staff members who tried their absolute best to help us with whatever we needed. But besides those, I am very disappointed. From reception till restaurant, butter till supervisor. My family is Thai and there was almost no staff able to help them in Thai. Not sure if understaffed, not open to serve Thai nationals in an international setting or ????

Not all the lights worked and we were only provided with one towel each in total. But the staff were lovely and the shower was amazing. If you are looking for a chill out holiday, stay here.

The location is literally right on the beach, so that is a real bonus. It is about 15-20 minutes from the main pier to the island, so it has the nice feeling of being on a private beach. The major downside to this is there is practically nothing to do around the area when the hotel's services wrap up at 9:30pm. Pro tip - rent a motorbike so you can explore the rest of the island if you like to stay up late.

They will try to nickel and dime you in several spots. There is a 1000 baht security deposit (I guess they have had bad guests in the past). It only cost 50 Baht to get a taxi from the pier to the hotel, but the hotel charges 250 baht to get a taxi back to the pier. There was NO tea anywhere at the hotel. Not in the rooms. Not at their restaurant. Not during breakfast. It was either coffee or water, which sucks if you don't drink coffee. Anything like juice was an additional charge (although they do have orange juice available during breakfast if you get the breakfast package). The food was delicious but most of the items had a 40+ minute wait from the kitchen. Also my waiter decided to keep 50 baht for himself when I paid my bill (this was on top of his tip). I had had a few drinks so I didn't notice right away, but when I did it was too late to do anything about it. Would have rated the hotel higher if those things hadn't happened.

the breakfasts - ample choices and constantly replenished the novels that were there to exchange the beach beds + chairs+ lazy bags - best we saw on the whole island the location - quiet, clean, use of lots of beach if you're with the hotel (not trying to squeeze in between restaurants and cafes) - much nicer than the 4 other beaches we visited on the island that were either too crowded/noisy, too dirty, or didn't have nice places to sit and lounge at the sea the room - great bed, just steps from the beach and sea, nice fridge the staff - friendly, helpful

the music - often louder than the sea and sometimes jarring for the atmosphere (techno beats on a quiet day... and into the evening even though there's no party happening) they were still constructing the bar, so drilling and other mechanical noise was happening daily (they could've let us know from this hour to this hour, it will be noisy or whatever) the yoga lady/class that came for two days - terrible music, she was loud and obnoxious, took over the beach and it wasn't yoga but more like aerobics, jarring and offensive room needed: side table on both sides of the bed and just a few more spaces to put clothes (hooks/drawers/closet, anything!) food was very good but notably more expensive than other places nearby
