Samed Tropical Resort

- Location, right on a great little beach with a couple of bars and restaurants (as well as the hotel's own restaurant and bar) - bean bags on the beach and lots of shade from the trees - beach bag, beach towels and flip flops in the room - shower room that can be used after checking out to get rid of sand before leaving

Breakfast could have been better (pumpkin soup had gone off) but was still a fair selection to choose from

The hotel is quite far away from the pier. It is not easy to get there, and the taxi drivers try to get more from passengers. 250 Butt one way for the car. It is possible to share. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Mint, for helping us with the train information. Beautiful and clean beach.

There are no wardrobe or shelves in the room. There is no space to put things. Be carefull-next to this hotel behind the white wall(near massage). we have been poisoned by food.....anyway, this cafe doesn't belong to Samed Tropical Hotel... just warning.

On the beach

Room was very small.

Modern rooms, location, relaxed music, movie nights, high pressure showers. Reception books taxi for you back to ferry. Staff friendly.

No safe in rooms, no wardrobe or real space to hang clothes, no hand towels, only provided one toilet roll. Staff quiet strict on 2pm check-in, no pastries or bacon, no alternative milks for breakfast

I like that the beach area is quite clean and not full of beach chairs. The restaurant staff are quite helpful; they remember recent requests.

I woke up with back pain. I am not sure why; I felt like the bed was uncomfortable. The coffee machine at breakfast is quite slow and sometimes not hot enough. The room does not have good lighting.

Very presentable resort with excellent bungalows good size and well equipped. Location was spot on

Breakfast selection was poor for Thais and the European selection was average compared to other resorts on the surrounding beaches.

Everything is was perfect stay in all ways.

There was nothing we didn't like

Available due to a cancellation, and we benefited from the two front rooms. Very convenient. Calm and intimate beach. Easy access to neighbouring beaches. Good pier.

Bathroom a little tired. Did not like the internal glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom. Very very very soft bed, so I slept on the day bed which was relatively firm. My friend slept on the soft bed, and slept very well, so just a difference in requirements.
