Saughall Mill Farm Cottage

Everything! It's such a beautiful little cottage surrounded by some lovely gardens. Nice and peaceful but only a short car journey from Chester town. Exceptionally clean! Really comfortable bed upstairs and the sofa bed was lovely also. The welcome basket you receive just makes it that bit more special. Super lovely hosts! Can't fault this place at all. Will definitely stay here again!

Everything has been thought of! Any little things you might have forgotten to pack, it'll be there! The cottage was so clean and comfortable and a gorgeous garden for the dog to run around in. It's only 10 minutes from chester, Cheshire oaks and the zoo. And the welcome hamper is amazing! Jayne and Richard are so friendly, nothings a bother to them, they even gifted us a balloon and cake for my birthday and Buddy the dog is adorable as well Best place we've ever stayed!

Nothing. Absolutely perfect!

Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday.

Everything we needed and more

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, not sure if some of the springs have gone, as we were falling into the middle.

A superb stay, starting with excellent pre-arrival communication followed by a wonderful welcome including above-and-beyond supplies of numerous goodies, milk, bread, even eggs! The lovely photos don't do the gorgeous cottage justice - cosy and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches to help make our stay comfortable. It's exceptionally clean and well equipped, leaving nothing to be desired. Hosts were exceptional - gracious, available and attentive whilst also giving us space. They were accommodating and even offered to make us an outdoor fire given my physical limitations. We will be back! Many thanks Jayne and Richard.

A true home from home. Jayne and Rich were excellent hosts, good communication, and friendly. Comfy bed, very clean and so many thoughtful extra touches. A welcome basket, treats for the dogs. Everything you could want and more.

So clean and convenient, excellent communication throughout with directions and check in times etc and really made us feel welcome. Fantastic hosts and beautiful well appointed cottage. Everything you could possibly need.
