Great place and amazing family! We wanted to prolong our stay but we will come back!

Big clean rooms with kitchen and balcony. Great location in calm village area. Super friendly staff. Great value for money.

Have to take in and then take out table and chairs from balcony to have breakfast, because no chairs or table at room, but it’s not a big problem. When was not too hot at morning we had our breakfast at balcony.

Everything was amazing. Very beautiful and clean place. There is a kitchen in the room which made the stay very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back.

Spacious room, good AC and WiFi, pretty quiet

The price is basically on par with four star hotels but I’m not sure if there are enough amenities to justify the value

The hotel was extremely comfortable, clean and well located for all the best restaurants and cafes in Hikka. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to sort out a mechanic for us when our tuktuk wouldn't start!

We enjoyed so much our stay at Surf N summer that we have decided to stay longer. Peaceful, clean and close to everything ( beach, markets, shops) with a quick walk (3 minutes). Staying here on the jungle side you’re able to see monkeys, chipmunks, bats, birds and monitor lizards in your morning walk to the Main Street! It’s an exceptional location if you like a quiet stay!

We had a great stay in Surf N Summer! Great location, just few minutes walk to the main street and ocean. Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 people. Private kitchen is a big plus! Owner helped us to organise transfer from/to the airport and Villa attended was always available if we had any requests. Definitely recommend it and we will come back here again.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about

The hotel has a great location, it is 7 mins walking to the beach, 5 mins walking to the main road, where are a lot of shops, cafes, etc. The place is quite nice and quiet with the jungles around. You can see monkeys, squirrels, parrots, peacocks around.. The room was nice and clean, kitchenette had a stove, fridge and some equipment like teapot, dishes, frying pan, usual pan, etc. Since we did not cook except of breakfast, the kitchen equipment was enough for us. We could also use the washing machine and drier in the common area. The photos that are on booking are true to life. (It happens rarely at SriLanka) The stuff was super helpful.

On the last days we had problems with the internet, the landlord tried to deal with it but the problems continued so we had to buy a sim card with mobile internet.

We stayed for a week and would gladly return for a longer stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with AC, hot water, a table (perfect for remote work), and a small kitchen. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the surf spots. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—we’re so grateful for their warm and welcoming attitude. Highly recommend!

One small suggestion: it would be nice to have a small fridge (i.e. mini bar size) inside the room, perhaps in the future it could be offered for an extra fee.
