Apartments Stelina

Filipe was a wonderful host, helping get my bag upstairs (yes there are steps), gave recommendations for restaurants, and was quick to respond. The location just outside of the old town, basically a small courtyard, kept you out of the busy vacation crowd yet you're right by the main steps of Old Town. The room was a great size, ac worked well, and it had a washer, which was a bonus since I'd been traveling for almost 3 weeks with 8 days to go. Bed was very comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a good reading light on both sides of the bed. There was a clap light on the table but no wall plug in that area, so perhaps an extension cord. The walls with the apt next door are thin so you can hear the neighbors, especially when in their bath and kitchen, on a shared a wall with this unit. The shower was fine but the curtain rod felt like it needed secured better. Small things.

The apartment is ideally located: two minutes from the old town and shops. The apartment is charming and clean. Buses take you to the beautiful Lumbarda beach in 15 minutes. Filip even picked us up from the ferry, and his helpful advice made our stay in the beautiful town of Korcula a pleasant one.

It was a quick easy walk from the ferry and right outside the main gate. Really it was central to everything we did. It was also near all the boats. The beds were comfortable and it was nice they had a washing machine. Loved that the owner left some homemade drinks for us to sample which was a nice touch. The owner took time to come see us and left a nice book of his recommendations. I had done my research so many of his suggestions I knew about but we did take his recommendation for a restaurant but his best recommendation was for music at night. We went to both of them and really enjoyed them. The wood ceiling in the room was lovely. This is on the second floor so there are some step but that is typical. I would highly recommend the property. It was very clean.

Not allot of places to dry clothes inside the room but there were places outside in common areas to dry things. Not an issues for us but worth noting. Shower was a bit small but that is typical of Europe.

Location was a few minutes from attractions, restaurants and grocery. Lovely rustic place. Host was very accommodating and responsive. He helped us a lot by providing tips and suggestions.

Toilet seat was not fitting. It was smaller than the actual toilet.

Great reception and a excellent location just outside Old Town.
