Endroit calme en dehors de la ville. Le jardin est magnifique, trés bien entretenu. Le petit plus, bain de pieds aux herbes tous les soirs. On y mange trés bien. Location de scooter et vélo sur place facilite le déplacement. Gentillesse et discrétion de nos hôtes.

The homestay so the air is fresh, cool, and super peaceful. Waking up to greenery all around was such a nice change from busy cities. The room was spacious, clean, and had that open, breezy feel that makes you instantly relax.

Wonderful accomodation!

Tan chau es un homestay muy agradable con una familia encantadora y simpática. Es un lugar muy tranquilo con un jardín precioso a seis km. De la ciudad, precisamente lo que buscábamos, por lo cual, necesitas moto o transporte para moverte que lo puedes gestionar allí mismo. Contratamos con ellos la excursión de un día por la bahía y nos encantó. Ofrecen comida y cena, lo cual es muy conveniente, sobre todo las cenas si ya no te apetece moverte por la noche. Además todas las te obsequian con un baño de pies con hierbas aromáticas!!. Hemos estado muy a gusto, gracias por todo!!

Todos los días te cambian toallas, pero no las sabanas ni limpiaron la habitación los 8 días que estuvimos, pero tampoco le dimos mucha importancia a eso. Por lo demás, todo perfecto

Really lovely quiet place to stay on Cat Ba away from the chaos and construction of the downtown core. You can easily get to town or to the port by public bus or cab (roughly 120-150k to town by taxi when we were there). The complementary evening foot bath is a nice touch and they had good breakfast options.

The beds are on the harder side, but wouldn't dissuade me from staying here again.

Endroit très calme.

Saubere, ruhige und schön angelegte Unterkunft, wenn keine lärmenden vietnamesischen Jugendlichen am Wochenende eintreffen. Das war in der einen Woche, in der ich dort war aber nur einmal der Fall. Ansonsten ist es sehr erholsam. Außerhalb vom Trubel der Stadt gibt es eine gute Busverbindung, Motorroller können sehr günstig geliehen, oder auch Fahrräder. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Jeden Abend gibt es kostenlose Fußbäder mit Kräutern vom Vater der Familie. Er ist ein sehr liebenswerter Mensch, der sich mit Heilkräutern sehr gut auskennt. Er hat mir sehr selbstlos mit abendlichen Kräuterbandagen geholfen, als ich in einer Höhle mit dem Fuß umgeknickt bin und mir eine Bänderdehnung zugezogen habe. Ein wirklich sehr liebenswerter Mensch, mit dem ich mich gerne mehr unterhalten hätte. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe nach drei Monaten Vietnamreise sehr genossen. Vielen Dank für den guten Service. Nochmals vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für die fürsorgliche Zuwendung vom Vater.

Seul bémol, la propreté n’est pas toujours au rendez-vous

This place is gorgeous! The location is spectacular and the owners are so kind and welcoming, offering foot baths in the evening and have an on site kitchen where the lovely ladies cook delicious meals. Very clean room daily replacing towels and toilet roll.

The doors have gaps underneath and the tiling in the bathroom had cracks so we had cockroaches come in a couple times, manageable but still to note. It's an island so they fly around everywhere minding their business haha!
