HAIAN Riverfront Hotel Da Nang

The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful - a shower in our room was broken and they fixed it within a few hours and sent us some fruit as an apology.

The biggest disappointment is the lack of any insulation on the windows and the huge noise that can be heard at night from the boulevard and the restaurants - the hotel is on a main street. There is literally no difference in the noise level whether the window is open or closed. I can't believe why they don't replace the windows and instead leave earplugs next to the bed! In our opinion, we are also disappointed with the level of cleanliness both in the room (stains on the sofa) and in the hotel itself - it seems that they do not maintain it very well. The breakfast is extremely poor and unvaried for such a large hotel, very often the plates were empty and there was no choice. The quality of the food was also not good.

Close to the riverfront view but the balcony was tiny! I tried to amend but checkout date prior to leaving Australia and I was unable to. Tried again on check in and a no go. I paid for 2 nights I wasn’t going to be there, due to an appointment I had in HCMC. After much discussion, I’ll be refunded 1 night’s accommodation, which may take up to 2 weeks to refund. In addition, I noted that the entire booking for 3 rooms was taken from my credit card a week before arriving, in spite of booking as free cancellation.

Good location. Clean and friendly staff

The aircon in our room took a while to cool even if temperature was already at 17 degrees.
