"A fantastic luxury spa escape in a beautiful setting—I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return."

10.0

We had an amazing stay at IXORA Hotel & Spa Snowdonia. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hotel was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury getaway.

There wasn’t anything significant to dislike.

"Nice Welsh break"

8.0

Modern bright hotel interior. Outside seating area when the weather permits. The hotel location gives easy access to Conway & Snowdonia. There is a nice spa at the hotel, but it does cost £25 for hotel guests to use these facilities for 2 hours.

The Ixora hotel is situated in an area that requires redevelopment. The disused surf lagoon overshadows the area. The rooms are spacious. However, I dont like hotel rooms with non-opening windows. The hotel lacks a swimming pool.

The room was an amazing size perfect for us. Very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a superb choice and evening meals were out of this world. Spa facilities are excellent as well

No swimming pool on site to use.

"Would definitely not stay here!!"

1.0

Not much

We arrived at the hotel after a week-long trip through West Wales and had specifically chosen this hotel as our final stop so that we could enjoy a relaxing spa experience and what appeared to be a high-quality hotel. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our initial room overlooked rubbish bins and the car park, and it was clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard, with noticeable dust throughout. I raised my concerns and requested a room change. I was informed that moving rooms would cost an additional £50, although this was reduced to £25, which I paid. While the second room was slightly better, it still fell well below the standard I would expect, and I took photographs to document its condition. We then visited the spa to enquire about treatments. The staff member we spoke to was neither welcoming nor helpful and came across as quite arrogant. I requested information about treatments and was surprised by the high prices, particularly for the 25-minute treatments. The charge for four hours’ access to the spa facilities was also excessive. Had we booked what we initially wanted—two 50-minute treatments and four hours in the spa—the cost would have exceeded £300. Before committing to such an expense, I asked whether I could view the spa facilities. I was told this was not possible and was instead advised to look at the spa from outside the fence. This was both unprofessional and uncomfortable, as it felt like an invasion of privacy for the guests already using the facilities. Based on what I could see, the “infinity pool” advertised was no larger than a jacuzzi, which was very misleading. On our second day, we returned to our room at around 2 pm hoping to relax, only to find that it had not been serviced. We had also run out of toilet paper, which, incidentally, was of extremely poor quality. When I called reception to ask about housekeeping, I was told rather abruptly that rooms of departing guests were serviced...
