Palazzo Gargano Amalfi

It’s location in very good proximity and you have everything in the room available (even towels for the beach), room was very clean and they offer daily room cleaning. Terazza is excellent with the mountain view, and also it is quite big I may say. And best of all, Luigi, a gentlemen and helped us a lot about everything from the beginning.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about the property.

Our stay was more than we could have hoped for. Our host Luigi was there for any little thing we needed (he answered our WhatsApp messages within minutes) from bringing up our suitcases, answering any questions on WhatsApp within minutes and bringing in extra towels when we needed them. He checked in to make sure our stay was perfect and gave the best recommendation for travel in the area, restaurants or whatever else we needed. The property itself is something out of historical movies. The building is located in old part of Amalfi town close to pretty much everything. It is an old historical building and I felt as if I stepped in The Renaissance. The room was spacious with huge windows and balcony doors steeping out on a huge terrace. We could not have asked for more. We would definitely return.

Quarto confortável, banheiro grande, e uma ótima varanda com mesa e cadeiras... todos os dias tem limpeza e arrumação, e eles repõem água com e sem gás para os hóspedes, e tem cafe instantâneo no quarto tambem... Luigi sempre simpático e acolhedor

A fachada do prédio bem feia, a entrada nao ficou legal, e tem cobrança de 0,05 euros para usar o elevador, que nem sempre temos moedas

Apartamentai labai geroje vietoje, viskas šalia. Turėjome labai dedelę terasą, kurioje galėjome leisti vakarus. Apartamentai centrinėje gatvėje, bet buvo ramu, negirdėti triukšmo. Labai malonus savininkas. Kambaryje radome viską ko reikia, net pasirūpinta paplūdimio rankšluosčiais ir krepšiu. Atvykus radome mums paliktų vaisių ir gėrimų šaldytuve, labai maloniai nuteikė. Tikrai grįšime, jeigu dar kartelį vyksime į Amalfį.

Luigi is a wonderful owner! He is very kind and helpful, offering advice about things to do on the Amalfi coast and provided a lot of recommendations for places to eat in Amalfi. The room was very clean and the split system air conditioning was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable and had a hard memory foam pillow and a soft pillow. Fruit and drinks (water still & sparkling, beer, limoncello, Prosecco, tonic and coke) were provided at no extra cost. The TV has Netflix and the balcony was a great size. There was also a large shower and a rainfall showerhead. There were also no stairs to reach the property, only a small incline to reach the hotel (can easily wheel luggage but note can be challenging when arriving after 10am as there so many people in the street - but that is the price you pay to stay in the heart of Amalfi! This wasn’t a dealbreaker). So many positives about staying here, I would recommend and return again!

Need 5 cents to use the lift to reach the property - we were unaware when we arrived with our luggage (Luigi helped load our luggage upon leaving and provided the 5 cents too). Note there are stairs to reach the room for everyday use without luggage.

The room was great - comfortable bed, good aircon, nice bathroom, amazing / large terrace overlooking the main street. A nice surprise was the selection of fruit and chocolates to greet us and a well stocked mini-bar (complimentary). Bottles of wine also available for purchase which was convenient. The location was central-north Amalfi, 2 mins walk to the centre, but just far enough for the crowds to be thinning out and a great breakfast place opposite. Luigi was amazing, we had a hire car and I was nervous about driving it up the main street mid-afternoon. Not a problem, Luigi met us at the roundabout at the start of the main street and drove us to the hotel/parking. Parking was good/very convenient and similar price to main car parks at the edge of town. Back to Luigi - I can't imagine a more helpful / responsive concierge - nothing is too much trouble, thanks Luigi!

The owner Luigi was incredibly welcoming and attentive! He made sure we had everything we needed and was very kind and helpful. The drinks and fruit were a very nice gesture. The room was very comfortable and had a wonderful terrace, which we greatly enjoyed. We also loved the beautiful, historic building! While the house is right on the main street, the room was very quiet.
