Vanilla Hills Resort

Claudia, Jose and Mark were the staff we interacted with the most and they were all fantastic. Great place to relax with plenty to explore nearby. The food onsite was great and the pool was perfect.

Vanilla Hills Lodge was a dreamy retreat in the middle of Belize’s western jungle. Claudia and her team ensured we had everything we needed, from transportation to the hotel to recommended tours and experiences. We stayed in the coconut tree house. Our view over a small pond was stunning and we were treated to tons of wildlife sightings during our stay. The food at the restaurant was some of the best during our time in Belize. We truly can’t say enough about our time at Vanilla Hills, and the value for the services provided is incredible.

Amazingly impressed with this resort! Perfect location. It was nice to be away from it all- tucked back in the trees. True jungle type feel! The cleanliness, the staff, and the grounds were stunning. It was nice to stay somewhere where the staff treated us like normal people. Coming from the states, often time when we visit Central American countries there’s a definite.. dislike we feel from staff members. Not here- these guys welcomed us into their country and were excited we travelled far to enjoy their country. Super recommended!!

The only thing- the beds were “so so” comfort wise. But that didn’t break the trip for us, or make us feel any other way about the place.

Great property not far from San Ignacio. Loved our two bedroom villa. Plenty of space and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner with easily the best food we had on the trip and at a fair price. Everyone was personable and the place is very inviting and welcoming. Beautiful infinity pool as well

Beautiful quiet secluded stay in nature. Lots of birds to see! The people were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything top notch. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Comfortable accomodations and great staff. This is a boutique hotel in a quiet and relaxed setting. The culinary offerings for this small hotel were amazing! The chef prepared gourmet meals that were the best of our trip. Truly delicious! I would recommend inquiring about the meal plan for your stay. The owner arranged some great day tours for us to ATM and Caracol. We enjoyed the mornings with lots of bird watching to be had while eating breakfast. You will enjoy staying here!

The entire experience was exceptional. We arrived by car service so were thrilled that all the tours that were perfectly chosen for us picked us up at the resort. Loved sitting outdoors every morning surrounded by the amazing birds they feed fruit and enjoying breakfast. Dinner was also wonderful. My husband wanted to watch a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game and they found a sports bar that could play it and arranged the taxi.

Everything! Our room - a tree house- was beautiful and spacious. The staff could not have been friendlier, and were able to book us an ATM tour at the last minute. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Lovely infinity swimming pool. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous property, wonderful people, amazing service and spectacular food!

We had such a great time here. We stayed in the king tree house. It truly was like staying in your dream tree house. Full glass windows let you wake up and see the trees and wildlife first thing. The outdoor shower was very relaxing and private. Claudia was so gracious and had lots of suggestions for the best things to do. She booked our tour of the ATM and we had such a knowledgeable and fun guide named Patrick. The food at the restaurant was very good and servings were very generous. You can watch the birds and wildlife feed as you eat. The pool is also very nice. Another nice thing they do for you is put everything on your bill at the end so you only have one transaction fee. I highly recommend a visit here!
