"Never Again"

I booked this hotel on January 29, 2026 for a stay between May 14 thru May 16 for my son's college graduation. This is the same hotel we stayed at when he touted his current college so in essence this is whwre it started. It was sentimental to stay there for his graduation. Just 4 hours prior to check in I receive an email the hotel canceled my reservation. They told me it was the third party vendor, Booking.com who canceled it so call them. Come to find out, it was actually the hotel who canceled my reservation. I had even spoken with them earlier that day via text confirming my time of arrival only for them to cancel my reservation from no where. I booked this reservation as a reserve now and pay at hotel, yet they tried to tell me that they attempted to charge my card for one night stay and couldn't so they canceled my reservation. First off, there was no such transaction to my credit card as there is well enough money there to cover the entire stay let alone one night. Secondly, why are they attempting to charge my card if I advised I would pay upon arrival? How did they know I wouldn't be using and alternative card? They screwed this sentimental experience. They left us without a hotel during a monumental occasion and to top it off they never even apologized. They just said have a nice day. Never booking with this hotel again. Sounds like they gave my room to someone else. Poor experience!

The location was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed the scenery and will be back to try the restaurant.

I think they should sweep the room floors a little more and try using a wet swifter to get up the dust. But other than that everything was perfect

Very clean. Bed was comfortable. 1885 bar was amazing place to kick back and enjoy the view. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here, the room was comfy and the rooftop bar is one of our fav spots to visit in town.

Check in was a mess, they wouldn't let us check in because there was a wedding? They finally let us check in and I was planning to utilize valet parking but they never showed up. So we unpacked everything ourselves and parked across the street.
