The rooms are dirty and smelly, we had an allergic reaction and they refusedto refund me , I had to move to a different hotel

It was right off the main road into Lusaka so was very easy to get to. The room was large and airy. The food and service in the dinning room was excellent

Breakfast is so filling, we love the place because of comfort, spacious, quiet

Gardens are very beautiful, rooms clean enough, enough hot water running to bath an clean beddings

Their staff are great until you meet their Manager-we arrived at about 21hrs and on a day as New Years eve knowing that the restaurant closes at 22hrs. The guy refused to give us food saying he had closed the restaurant and was stock taking. What a day to stock-take and the inflexibility for residents who need a meal after travelling to stay at your premises was insane...I have never seen. We repeatedly met with his cuelty throughout the stay-New year's day-they got many clients coming in for lunch and the place filled up and their small restaurant congested-several of us asked to get tables placed on the lawn near the restaurant to eat peacefully and when his staff started setting up-he summoned them to stop and ask us to go and squeeze in the restaurant and not around it. Drinks ordering similar encounter-he makes you dread being there...you feel like you are encroaching in his space or he is some police station marshal. Our staff rating is purely based on this Manager-he is very bad-you will enjoy the rest of the staff and they even get out of their way to advice you on what to do to beat the guy's fist on them and guests too. Some Chalets really come with a strong dump smell-we moved from 2 rooms where we struggled with a very strong smell. I have never been there in summer but looks like with no intentionallity to dry the thatch leading to a terrible smell in the room-you don't want to be there in the rain season and am hoping that was just dampness. The last room we changed to with a lesser smell had 2 single beds poorly connected such that if you stray to the joining-you feel the pain in your ribs.
