Private Organic House

Excellent accomodation built from natural materials, all modern amenities: shower; air con; ceiling fan; kettle; range of electrical sockets. We had a lovely breakfast whilst on safari in Udawalawe National Park. Safari tour organised by our host Upul who was courteous, knowledgeably and friendly.

Beautifully done up place on the edge of the safari park. Upul and his family were extremely welcoming and helped us with everything we needed, including lovely meals and an outstanding safari. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Upaal's place was great, his family greeted us with fresh homemade lemonade and a soft sponge cake (absolutely delicious). The lodges are made using mud earth and brick, so keeps the place very cool. We also went with Upaal's safari of Udawalawe National Park, and I cannot recommend highly enough, as they spend more time going into the park so you can see animals, especially the elephants

Beautiful cabin in a sunny colourful garden. Upul organised a fantastic safari for us in Udawalawe National Park and was very helpful and accommodating. Great experience!

Interesting architecture of all the places we’ve stayed in. Emphasis on natural materials.

Stairs were very steep. Stones on bathroom floor were rather uncomfortable.

This was perfect for our stay in Yala. the owner organised a safari for us which was great and provided dinner which was lovely. Would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay and have a safari :)
