GREAT STAY REALLY COMFORTABLE

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

Great proximity to Anfield (was there for a game).

The bed was a bit solid and uncomfortable, but that's down to personal preference.

1. The location was great for Anfield 2. Beds were comfy 3. Looks like a nice bar (although didn’t use it) 4. Staff were pleasant 5. WiFi was decent 6. Tv with plenty of channels and has Netflix etc 7. Tea/coffee provided

Sorry for the negatives but these are things I could’ve looked past if the room rate was £50-60 not almost £100 1. The car park is the size of a postage stamp 2. Expensive rate £96 for a basement room with no window 3. Asked for twin beds and was told I was allocated a room with twin beds and I wasn’t. 4. Was given one bath towel for two people 5. The toilet seat was broken, no plug in basin, shower leaked and dressing table chair felt like one more lean back away from breaking in two. 6. Could hear everything outside our room and above our room at times was really loud. 7. The £150 damage deposit is a bit of joke seeing as things are already half broken before you’ve even walked into the room. 8. Wasn’t very clean there was hair on the back of the toilet and beer bottle caps still with the tea and coffee. 9. The outside looks a little worse for wear, not really like the photos on the website

It was very convenient location to city centre and Anfield stadium with easy transport routes.

The bathroom was dirty especially the shower and there was also a bug in the bathroom.

Great location, staff were lovely and welcoming, accommodation was modern and comfortable, we booked direct with the hotel so got a great price and a complimentary bottle of prosecco on arrival, would stay again.

Do not use this hotel! The pictures do not compare to what you get! And by the time you realise it’s a grubby room you won’t be offered your money back! Upon arrival we waited 20mins for our room due to the one staff keep going to serve customers beer despite ourselves being ahead of them in the Queue. The room itself smelt of damp as there were no windows or circulation Dow in a converted cellar it seemed! The TV advertised had no aerial attatched so it was useless and the remote had the back missing so the batteries fell out. The wall paper was all coming away from the walls with yellow grime showing the paper coming away. We pulled the sheet back and found worn holes in the mattress with human hair where it hadn’t been cleaned for maybe weeks or months. There was a teabag wrapper sat round the door entrance and the shower only run hot water where you couldn’t shower as it was so hot. I’m not a fussy person and I’ve been to many hotels through the years but believe me this one is disgusting. We decided to leave and left the room at 2100, offered no refund just a ok sorry and bye. Travelled back home and ruined our weekend away! Contacted the hotel during and after the stay and best I got was we appreciate your feedback! Don’t make same mistake as me, pay a bit more and avoid at all costs.
