Libelula Tulum Beachfront Hotel

Truly a magical place. The staff were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were phenomenal. Libélula is also located on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach I’ve ever seen. It was such a lovely place that I almost don’t want to tell anyone else about it, because I hope to come back again and again and again.

Amazing location right on the beachfront with super staff and great food. Loved the relaxed atmosphere around the place. Definitely a place to come to if you are looking to unwind for a few days and just relax.

Nothing to dislike.

Stunning beach front with no neighbors. We love the comradely and friendliness of Jorge and the staff and with the other guests; we got to know the staff and fellow travelers which is so good for us! The food is simple but EXCELLENT. The cocktails are special and delicious. The room we had was upstairs with an amazing view, very quiet and caught the breeze, sounds of the sea and the jungle and sunrise.

We would have preferred no music on the beach and if the bicycles were maintained but salt air does funky things to metal!

A life changing experience I didn’t know I needed, but will forever be grateful I had. This isn’t a place for luxury seeking Americans. It's a place of refuge, where nature and thought provoking conversations elevate the true intentions of old world Tulum. Where your ideals will be questioned and unlikely friendships forged. Where yin-and-yang coworkers are more like your friends than paid staff. Jorge will show you the tough love you didn’t know needed and Armando will treat you like the precious baby you’ve always been, yet somehow forgot you were. All while sweet Sam will keep the libations flowing with a shy-smile. A place that Karla and her family created as a magical portal to the sea, curated to make you feel like you’ve entered an entirely different reality. Delicious in every way, from the mouthwatering food (the best I’ve had in all my trips to Mexico) to the salty beach bar and nightly Animal Spirit readings - it truly was a magical experience. It is a very special place, but not meant for everyone. If you feel drawn to a slower pace of life, where the sand and sea meet your soul, this place is for you. Closest to the beach and water , amazing food , very private are just some of the beautiful things about the place. The resort is located in an amazing location with plenty of things to do and see. Management is very very helpful and supported in planning my trip. Easily one of the best experiences of my life. The seafront chalet is amazing , puts you in touch with nature. The beds are great , the shower and other bathing products they provide is really really good. The restaurant and bar make drinks to compliment the cultural influences around. I tried many restaurants nearby and libelulas kitchen is easily the best.

Really beautiful experience. Stunning room and location. The staff are amazing and help with anything I asked for. Food was also perfect. I would recommend to everyone. Best part of the beach in tulum. A lovely retreat.x

Food Drinks General Jorge is a legend!

My stay at Libelula was truly wonderful! The hotel is located in the most pristine part of the Tulum beach, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful. A real gem of a place, highly recommend !
