Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Utica

We had a wonderful stay! The bathroom was large and had a big counter . The room is also very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the room is quiet.Lots of plugs and outlets . Nice closet area with drawers . All in all we enjoyed our stay . I would go back!

I was at this property for one night to visit family. The location is easy off of M-59, and there are restaurants within walking distance (Golden Corral / Longhorn Steakhouse). It's a new facility, just opening in October of 2021 and still have that new building and room smell to it. The staff person checking me in was very nice and helpful. My room was on the 2nd floor, and was very large and nice, with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is an actual small walk-in closet, which if someone was staying for a few days would be really helpful. The bathroom is well appointed with a large shower and large sink / vanity top. Water pressure was very good. They also had neutrogena soap, shampoo and conditioner, which was very nice. I had a king bed and it was firm, but not overly so and the bedding was nice and soft. Some minor complaints - the TV only had 3 stations working, although it could be me not understanding the remote. Also, the bedding is all tied together so I could not shed the top covers and just use the sheet. I get that it's easier to clean but it's kind of annoying. There is also not a way to keep the fan on in the HVAC, so bring your white noise machine if you need that. There was a breakfast but I already have one planned so didn't use. There is a little 'general store' area in the lobby and a bar that isn't open yet, probably due to COVID still hanging on. I would definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I look forward to getting out at least once per month. When we do we stay at hotels to chill and use the hot tub and or pool. Unfortunately this location has neither. When I booked the hotel no information was available stating that there wasn’t a pool nor hot tub.

File Alarm kept going off at least twice while I was there shortly after I checked in and then 3am in morning no NO REST FOR ME !! I never had a phone to room on what was going on no "I'm sorry for the inconvenience of it all"

Excellent stay. Gail had checked me in. Super friendly, asked if I wanted a water, made sure to explain about the free breakfast, extremely pleasant. Check in and check out was a breeze. I choose this hotel because it's fairly new and I have a phobia of dirty hotels. This hotel was super clean, huge room with desk, lamps, couch, TV, multiple USB chargers, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, toiletries. Extra blanket, fluffy pillows and comfy bed. Extremely pleased. Highly recommended.

The hotel was super clean and brand new. The rooms were very clean also. The staff was nice. There was not a single problem with the property. restaurant was not open due to Covid but they had breakfast.
