"Nice Hotel - Wonky Housekeeping"

Nice hotel with wonky housekeeping system. We had a 4 night stay to see area spring training games and other attractions. High point of stay was comfortable and quiet room and excellent complimentary breakfast. Low point was crazy housekeeping system where rooms are apparently scanned for early morning do not disturb signs and then your room is deleted from housekeeping schedule. We had to complain 5 times to get our room cleaned on the 3rd day; even the front desk staff seemed flummoxed to explain it. We asked for a comp night for the trouble and received 50% off one night. We also had a balky toilet which was not fixed until day after check in as nobody on staff to fix anything after 3 pm which is nuts. The front desk staff were kind and helpful and maybe victims of the other departments dysfunction. Not sure if any other hotels are better after reading tons of reviews prior to booking. Location near Steinbrenner Field and other major roadways is excellent exceptt for closed off Frontage Road due to construction. Our staff was restful except for issues mentioned above.
