Great for what we needed. Very accommodating letting us check in early as required. Good sized room, decent shower. Breakfast was excellent

Very comfortable, welcoming and homely stay. Lovely staff. Fabulous breakfast. Ideal for a break in Cheshire in beautiful village of Tarvin.

Unfortunately the kitchen staff were on holiday so we couldn't sample their evening menu. We had been forewarned. But it did mean we explored other options.

There was a light on in the hall way which shone into the bathroom in room 1, which ment you had to keep the door closed,which normally would not be an issue but due to the heat i wanted to have the cool air coming into the room from the bathroom room No chair in the room

We liked most everything about The George and Dragon! We were attending the Snow Patrol gig at Forest Live Delamere and thought The George and Dragon was a good spot to stay overnight. We had our evening meal there a wee bit earlier than normal, gosh we were not disappointed! We both had fish and chips and can I say they were some of the best we have ever had! The chunky chips were to die for, never seen anything like them and the fish was like a whale! We could not eat anything else that evening, even though there were a lot of good looking outlets at the gig. After waiting an hour to get out of the car park at Delamere, the lovely comfy bed was a treat! Off to sleep straightaway. The breakfast in the morning was also really plentiful and nice. If we are in the area again, our first port of call would be The George and Dragon.
