Casa Chiesa Nuova

Loved the terrace. Proximity to the little grocery store, a restaurant and the bus stop was excellent. Very quiet & nice neighborhood.

Place was very clean and located very near restaurants and intersection where local bus stops. Despite being close to via Marconi it was relatively quiet.

We were driving a car and had heard parking a car is an issue in Positano and thought the unit included private parking in the cost, but were informed that is an additional cost of 50 Euros. The person who checked us on directed us to a parking area that was about a 7 minute walk and we were able to find a place because it was low season.

The property is in a great location and has its own private terrace.

It is managed by an Agent and the maintenance is poor. For example, there was a damp problem on the wall in the hallway, the fire alarms were in the drawer and not fitted, the fridge door didn’t close properly so I’ve had built up and the cleanliness was average (there was mould in the bathroom).

Everything, it was near a supermarket, there was a cafe, ATM and best bus stops and taxi pick up. Yes, there was bit of walk to the beach but then I didn't had to carry luggage down stairs when checked in and checked out. It's was just 4 steps. Great sea views.

Great communication with the agency handling the property prior to arrival, the arrival day and during our stay. The property was a great size, nicely furnished and had a great balcony with view over the sea. It had everything we needed for our stay.

There was an issue with a drain smell from the shower room. The concierge came immediately to put disinfectant down the drain but unfortunately it was a constant problem while we were there. To overcome it, we just put the fan on in the shower room which cleared it while we were in there and kept the door closed. This sort of thing is not unusual for a Positano.
