Casa Chiesa Nuova

The people upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture every morning at 6 am !!! That ruined everything The noise was SO loud :(

It was comfortable and the location was convenient.

We didn’t have enough toilet paper.

We were greeted by Giulio, which was an exceptional host! He gave us so much guidance and recommendations to all the right places. I typically like to do my own research as I’m pretty particular about the experiences on my trips but he got our vibes every time and exceeded my expectations. The shuttle picks up right outside the apt just a few steps away and runs every 15-20 mins will take you to any part of city center. City center is walkable but there are steps so make sure you have comfortable shoes. Walking and steps is unavoidable in positano. Unless on scooter, we thought we would drive to everything but a car is no ideal in this area. We parked ours for the time there and used shuttles or walked. The apt is clean and comfortable with great ocean views of positano. It had everything you need. Theres a market right outside, convenience shop, and a little shopping. Also a cute little gelato coffee place outside the apt. Overall the best space, location and host for a very affordable price in the area.

No complaints this was overall a great stay! The price location and hospitality was all we could ask for.

Even though we were high up in the city, it was convenient to the bus, grocery, and eating establishments. Marco was fantastic and helped us so many ways.

The room was nice and clean, there was a kitchen too and a terrace with a nice view.

Booking shout correct the information about the location and distance from the beach and port. NOT 300 meters.. if I had wings , maybe I could fly in the air , to be 300 meters. First you have to climb steps for 10-15 minutes with my suitcase. Thank god it was a carry on and not huge. Then you have to buy ticket to take a bus to Chiesa Nuova another 10-15 minutes. For an older person, like me , it was difficult On the way back I had to drag my suitcase down again. There is no other access to the Positano ferry.

Small ‘apartment’ with no lounge area, only straight back chairs which were uncomfortable. Long walk down to beach and shops/resto, very long walk back !!
