The view.

The location was a bit of a walk to the hub. We were given a courtesy lift to our apartment and assumed the lift back was free. We were charged 60 euro for a 5 minute trip. Eden Roc denied not informing us. It was disappointing. The facilities needed new pots and pans. The apartment roof had been leaking and paint was peeling. For the money, it was a little disappointing.

The view is perfect, and the photos represent it well. It was clean and simple. Close to a bus stop.

The communication was less than okay we had zero check in instructions, walked up over 300 stairs to the apartment to be told check was at a hotel on the other side of the area. And we needed to go back down and then up again on the other side: we had two very heavy backpacks. I also think 4pm check and 10am checkout for the price you pay is extremely unfair. It’s not close to town, 30 min walk each way and many many stairs however right next to an easy to use bus stop. The facility matched the photos but the lack of communication ruined the experience for us, for the price you could stay closer in a hotel. I wouldn’t come back.

Huge room with Huge balcony overlooking the sea, there is a washing machine and the kitchen has everything you need. Staff are nice.

We had heard stories about carrying our luggage up hundreds of stairs. Absolutely untrue. Our host talked to our driver and we actually had to walk down about five steps to our apartment. We stayed above positano in Chiesa Nuova. We did walk down 438 steps into the town but we could have taken the bus had we wanted to. The apartment had a beautiful terrace , was conveniently located close to a market, the bus stop, the bar that served delicious pastries and cappuccinos. You buy your bus tickets at the tobacco shop and we took day trips from Positano to Sorrento and Pompeii. So easy yo get around and everyone was friendly. The big excitement in town is sitting at the intersection and watching cars and buses maneuver around each other.
