Klopfenstein Inn and Suites

We stayed here during Christmas and were very surprised. We got a great deal through Priceline and laughed at the name. Family who visited were even impressed. It was clean, staff was nice and accomodations were above average. The best part was location! We will definitely stay here if we ever go to Ft. Wayne again. Oh go see the Johnny Appleseed grave.

I didn't like the hotel. Went for a basketball tournoment and the rooms were terrible. It needed cleaning and had stains on the floor. I will never go again.

Friendly, competent staff made visit memorable. Facilities generally in good condition. Good continental breakfast with fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Free cookies, milk, and coffee in evening. Not a luxury hotel, but great value and pleasant experience.

This hotel needs some updating in all rooms. for the most part it is clean but some rooms need repairs and updating. The outside and interior halls are clean and nice looking, not a 4 star but livable. The bath and shower areas need regrouting to give it a fresh look. The walls in some rooms need repair. Beds are comfortable , clean and well kept. For the most part it is a great inexpensive place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful.
