"What a very beautiful authentic house with a great view."

What a very beautiful authentic house with a great view. On arrival we received Charles with his cute dog Hetty (so sweet) a short word of welcome and explanation. The house consists of a cozy sitting room, fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The whole house and garden are really beautifully decorated. We have been to Drogo Castle and Buckfast Abbey, both highly recommended. You also see a lot of Dartmoor along the way.

"Warm and cosy cottage"

Stayed three weeks in this lovely cottage in a very quiet location. Great facilities in a well stocked kitchen. Comfy warm lounge (it was January) and gorgeous walks out the door. Hosts were just lovely making sure everything was fine for us

cosy, great location and friendly owner. you can see that it’s a very special place for lots of people reading the visitor book.

it’s clearly very popular and therefore needs a bit more of tlc in the general uptick and cleaning in my honest opinion. That wouldn’t necessarily stop me staying again and I would want to know.

"An interesting, picturesque cottage in a unique location. Would love to see it it the summer."

Great location, and ideal for our purpose. Very interesting property, and our first time in a thatched cottage. Dog friendly too, which was to 'Peppers' liking. The bread, butter, and milk were a nice touch.

The living room area was a little smaller than we expected, but it was cosy, not cramped. Could do with a fan or ventilation in the shared bathroom, although it could be a listed building, so that might not be possible.
