McLaren House Seahouses

A lovely airy and spacious flat in the centre of Seahouses. Well equipped and very clean. Everything worked well. Clear check in and check out instructions. Seaview from the living room window. Complimentary parking.

The stairs - one flight - could be an issue if not mentioned at time of booking.

Nice large accommodation. Two bathrooms was a bonus. Very central to seahouses.

Mattress was uncomfortable. Floorboards were creaky. Could not get oven to work.

A location right in the centre of Seahouses.

It was hard to find. There is no sign in the street to the alleyway down which you must go to the rear entry. The apartments are all first floor so require steps to climb. Difficult for the elderly. The key code lock can be difficult. Turn the handle left not right. The oven controls are also difficult. Having yo strip my bed and take the bedding downstairs is not what I expect to have to do when paying this much.

Location was great, the apartment was big and clean with enough room for us and one dog

There was only one cup when we arrived and after advising the hosts, some more were brought 3 days after & we were going home the next day…quite poor really

needs a little TLC !! downstairs bathroom painting and a dish cloth and dishwasher tablets would have been handy
