"Great hotel with easily corrected drawbacks."

The facilities were amazing. The room was well equipped and comfortable, food was very well prepared and tasty. The staff were hard working and great hosts.

Too much light and noise pollution sadly which affected my nights sleep. I was in the mallard suite which was at the front of the property facing a busy road and service station with a McDonald’s. Black out curtains would be a very welcome addition to the room, thankfully I had earplugs to reduce the noise.

"Hotel could be fantastic with some attention to detail"

Location was great for me as I was working at the Springfields conference centre the next day. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Ample parking. Great breakfast served by very friendly lady.

No desk in room (though the room is enormous, plenty of room for one), so difficult to do any work - the one table has tea, coffee, etc. and chair that is too low to work from. No kettle: fiddly coffee machine instead. Made a cup of tea with it and it tasted awful - not sure whether it was the machine or the milk. No spoons, only annoying wooden sticks. Old TV, poor quality picture, couldn't get the sound above 16. Ample parking space but surface is covered in gravel, impossible to wheel suitcase. Mirror in bathroom too far away from sink. Windows have blinds not curtains do room doesn't black out properly at night.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and bed was very comfy. The pool was also very nice and welcoming after a long drive

The breakfast was exceptional, gluten free options too the staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, very relaxed atmosphere, free parking, extremely comfortable beds and large rooms

The staff made us very welcome. Very friendly. Explain where everything was around the hotel. The food was lovely. We would definitely go to this hotel again.

The food was really good. But if you want the steak you need to give 24 hrs noticed. May be a good idea to show food menu on the website.
